Gatekeep is an iOS app developed by PRPL Solutions Inc. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data Gatekeep accesses, how it is used, and what we do not collect.

Data We Do Not Collect

Gatekeep does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:

• No tracking or analytics
• No advertising identifiers
• No personal information (name, email, location, etc.)
• No crash reports sent to external servers
• No data sold or shared with third parties
• No internet connection required or used

Screen Time & App Usage

Gatekeep uses Apple's Family Controls framework to block and unblock apps on your device. This requires the Screen Time permission, which you grant during onboarding. Gatekeep only uses this permission to apply restrictions to apps you have explicitly chosen to gate. No usage data, app identifiers, or Screen Time information is ever transmitted off your device.

On-Device Storage

Gatekeep stores your settings, gated apps, challenge history, and streak data using Apple's SwiftData and App Group shared storage — entirely on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to PRPL Solutions or any third party.

Children's Privacy

Because Gatekeep does not collect any data, there are no special concerns regarding users under the age of 13. No personal information is collected from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
